Denise M. Turner serves as Of Counsel to NSW Legal, LLC. A former Lake County Deputy Prosecutor, she brings courtroom experience from both sides of the aisle to the firm’s clients in criminal defense, family law, estate planning, and Social Security Disability matters. Denise holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Divinity, a combination that shapes her approach to the law: rigorous in strategy, grounded in service. She is deeply rooted in the faith communities of Lake County and Chicago, where she regularly leads estate planning and legal education events. She is licensed to practice law in Indiana and represents Social Security Disability claimants nationwide.

Denise is the proud mother of two college-age children. Away from the office, she is a competitive mah jongg player with a standing spot in weekly tournaments, an avid spades player, and a lifelong lover of film and live theater. She is also a writer at heart.
